A beautiful antique French oak floor – carefully milled from salvaged French oak beams from the Provence region in France.  Selected beams from structures dating back several hundred years are used to craft the most exclusive floors in the home building industries.  This cloister series wood floor has been scraped, brushed and lightly smoked for a deep and warm patina.  The antique French oak is perfectly suited for this finish, as cracks, nail holes and other imperfections play perfectly with the warm tone and create a floor for any French country design or Mediterranean ambiance.  Planks ranging in width up to 12″ and lengths up to 20′ will compliment open room layouts, creating the sensation of even larger rooms by avoiding seams and joints in your antique wood floor.

Using soft Estaillade limestone from the Provence, French craftsmen create solid masterpieces that will enhance any firebox, whether for new construction or for a remodeling project. We have several models to choose from or you can send us your detailed drawing or a sketch, and we will have your mantel custom carved. Colors range from pastel white, light and dark grey to dark sand colors.  The fireplace mantels either come in a smooth finish or with a truly hand-worked patina that exhibits chips, scrapes, dimples and lines deep within the stone. Landscape design and curb appeal can be greatly enhanced using an authentic hand carved French limestone wall or market fountains. Such a water feature carved by our craftsmen in France complements the front of the house or backyard landscaping. The French Estaillade limestone from the Provence region that we use is a soft but frost resistant material that weathers extremely fast and will look like antique limestone in a very short time. Our French limestone fountains are still carved and distressed with hand tools by craftsmen in France with the same techniques and care as was done in past centuries. No two French limestone fountains are alike. Color variations in the limestone as well as different techniques from craftsmen to craftsmen will make each fountain unique. Vintage Elements complements these limestone fountains with aged cast iron spigots that resemble their antique and centuries old predecessors. These planks have been milled from salvaged oak beams from the Provence region in France. With grain imperfections, nail holes and cracks these planks truly show off their heritage. Between 150 and 200 years old the wood has naturally darkened to a smoke-honey color. Vintage Elements uses artisan techniques by enhancing some of the unique elements of this wood with a hand scraper and wood knife for a true character surface and patina. The wood can be sealed either with a hard curing wood floor oil or with our French Carnauba wax for a long-lasting durable finish.  The planks come in widths up to 12″ and lengths up to 15′.

Handcrafted parquet floor created from either reclaimed European oak or reclaimed French oak.  Heavily brushed, handsculpted, fumed or smoked, lime-washed and oiled – this floor exhibits true antique character. Imperfections and some tolerances in the milling accentuate the handcrafted heritage. The tolerances allow us to further mold the wood and scrape it to imitate century-long wear. This floor can be totally customized according the customer specification for a true signature designer floor.  You are welcome to design your own pattern or let us know what patinas, stains, dyes or distress levels you desire and we will create your signature floor for your project.  These parquet slabs are usually 7/8″ thick and standard square size is 39″.  But because these reclaimed oak parquet slabs are hand made we can build them to any specs up to 48″ square.
